Snowboarding

The sport I would enjoy competing for the Olympics is snowboarding. Snowboarding is a winter sport which requires the rider's foot to be attached on the board. It was inspired by skateboarding, sledding, surfing, and skiing. In 2000, snowboarding became the fastest growing sport in the U.S.
There are many tricks in snowboarding, such as the crossbone method air, the double grab, and the method air. The crossbone method air is when the back leg is boned. During the double grab, two separate tricks are done while in the air. The method air is when the hand grabs the heel edge, both knees are bent, and the board is pulled to level of the head.
Snowboarding was around since the 1910's. It was built with a plywood sled and a skateboard deck. Snowboarding became more popular in the 70's and 80's.
